Thanks to a number of factors, including Google’s selection of Kansas City for the installation of Google Fiber, the city is quickly earning a reputation as a major tech and start-up hub—and is an ideal host for the growing Techweek brand, joining Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Detroit. More than 5,000 people are expected to attend Techweek Kansas City, immersing themselves in a schedule that includes everything from networking happy hours and fireside chats to office tours, keynotes and live demonstrations.
