The 2016 AXUG Summit, the biggest gathering of the year for Microsoft Dynamics AX users and partners wrapped last week in Tampa, Fla. More than 2,000 Dynamics AX users joined together for user-produced education sessions and networking opportunities. The high-energy event may be over, but we’re still excited about some of the conversations and announcements the event generated.
DSI was on site meeting with Dynamics AX users at our booth during expo hours and presenting quick demos on the DSI Digital Supply Chain Platform™ and ScanWorkX, DSI’s Certified for Microsoft Dynamics AX mobile data collection solution. Visitors to our booth also received the chance to win prizes including a Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Elite Edition. Between great conversations with AX users from all over the world, #TeamDSI also attended sessions, including the opening keynote.
The event’s opening keynote addressed digital disruption trends and encouraged Dynamics AX users to take advantage of data and business intelligence. A highlight of the keynote was when Scott Guthrie, Microsoft Executive Vice President, Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise Group revealed upcoming applications for intelligent business. In the keynote and in other sessions, event attendees learned about Microsoft Dynamics AX product updates, including the release of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
As companies embrace the technologies that power the digital trends mentioned in the opening keynote, the quality and reliability of data is more important that ever. That’s why having a certified mobile data collection solution is a foundational component of digital transformation. Additionally, we’re excited about how DSI’s Digital Supply Chain Platform can help Microsoft Dynamics AX users take advantage of disruptive technologies like the Internet of Things to increase efficiency and productivity across the supply chain.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event. See you at AXUG Summit 2017 in Nashville!
